2024-11-15sync/atomic: make intrinsics noescape except 64bits op on 32bits arch and ↵Jorropo
unsafe.Pointer Fixes #16241 I made 64 bits op on 32 bits arches still leak since it was kinda promised. The promised leaks were wider than this but I don't belive it's effect can be observed in an breaking maner without using unsafe the way it's currently setup. 2024-06-07sync: include links to the Go memory model in package documentationRodrigo Orselli
The lack of links to https://go.dev/ref/mem in the sync package documentation makes it difficult to read for people who have no previous knowledge of that page. This PR includes the links where needed. A few of these are copied from the memory model doc. Many are entirely new, following discussion on #47141. See https://research.swtch.com/gomm for background. The rule we are establishing is that each type that is meant to help synchronize a Go program should document its happens-before guarantees. For #50859. This is a subset of https://golang.org/cl/20022 with only the copyright header lines, so the next CL will be smaller and more reviewable. Go policy has been single space after periods in comments for some time. The copyright header template at: https://golang.org/doc/contribute.html#copyright also uses a single space.
